This is the song that first introduced me to Ana Tijoux. Yet how many years later and Juieta still can’t sing or goodness gracious dance for the life of her. I like her when she gets melancholic and angry because she rocks at it. Well you see, I have been a hard core Julieta fan since I first heard the legendary CD “Bueninvento” back in 2000. Now, I see Ana and Julieta on stage and Ana just runs over Julieta. Ana Tijoux can rap, improvise, lead musicians, dance, and SING better than Julieta. AND this was back in 2011. Anita Tijoux is at a new high right now and Julieta is now… ummm a light pop chanteuse? They might be close in age, but Ana Tijoux is the current and future of Latin Alternative. Proof? See below:
